Shameless self-promotion
A column I wrote on being a baby boomer boss is now online at Poynter Online. It's a response, more or less, to a previous column about managing Gen Y reporters. Please let me know what you think by posting response here or on Poynter.
John, I printed out your column to show to some of my gen Y reporters....and fellow Boomer editors. You really captured those relationships. Please keep writing....Maureen West
Thanks, Maureen. I have heard from several Gen Y reporters with their thoughts, generally feeling it was helpful. I would love to hear back what your folks thought.
John, you're amazing. congrats on this blog. So full of stuff. Where do you find the time? Hope you are well. We should catch up. --Mike Vitez

ReplyDeleteWe all need praise when we do well and corrections when we blow it. The good ones know when they write something well.
And everyone should read a lot of Mencken.
